Wamhoff Honored with a 2015 Future 50 Award from St. Louis Small Business Monthly

Wamhoff Financial Planning and Accounting Services, a financial firm celebrating 40 years in business, has received a Future 50 Award from St. Louis Small Business Monthly. The award recognizes businesses for growth and community service, as well as their future plans and strategies to continue on an upward path. Firm President Bob Wamhoff and several members of his team were recently on hand at the awards ceremony, which celebrated Wamhoff and fellow honorees.

“When you’ve been in business for 40 years, and have continued to grow as we have, we know that means we’re doing something right,” said Bob Wamhoff. “We’ve been through many changes in the market, a wide variety of political climates, and have served several generations of the families who rely on us to take care of their financial picture. We’ve seen a lot, and we’ll continue to leverage that experience as we look to the next 40 years, and beyond.”

Wamhoff has received many honors over the years, including Bob Wamhoff’s designation as a Barron’s Top Advisor by Barron’s Magazine, recognition as Employer of the Year in St. Charles, and has been named a Best Accounting Firm in St. Louis for six years in a row by St. Louis Small Business Monthly. The firm has grown into one of the largest independent financial planning firms in Missouri, with both financial planning and accounting working seamlessly together to manage clients’ portfolios and taxes.

In addition to Wamhoff’s work in financial planning and accounting, the firm also is actively involved in the Honduran charity, Timmy’s Mountain, that was founded by Bob and his wife Diane. The organization, established in 2003, feeds and educates children in a small mountain village in Honduras. Several staff members serve on the Timmy’s Mountain board, travel regularly to Honduras, and work tirelessly to raise funds to support the children.

Here in St. Louis, Wamhoff supports Unlimited Play, the Gateway MS Society, Stray Rescue of St. Louis, and the St. Charles County Library Foundation.
