The Final Stretch of 2013

As we enter the season of Thanksgiving, I’m pleased to report that we have a lot to be thankful for. Last month, I mentioned that I believed October would be a strong month in the market if an agreement was reached in Congress. It wasn’t pretty, but they finally ended the shutdown and October did finish with a gain of 4.6% in the S&P. That makes October the third best performing month in 2013. Bob_W

In addition, we just finished our first complete cycle of a non-publically traded REIT, which was very successful. It appears we will have more of this type of investment coming in the next six months.

Confidence is growing, and we are seeing residential and commercial real estate starting a little comeback. All of this is great news for investors. I do believe that the market will remain strong for 2013.

This past weekend, we held our annual Trivia Night to benefit Just Because We Care. Over 200 people joined us for a fun evening of movie, music and pop culture trivia. We were all singing and laughing, and joining together to support the kids in Honduras. During our Christmas trip in December, we’ll bring down presents for all the children, and provide the food needed for each family to have a Christmas dinner. We are truly blessed to share the holiday with them.

Thank you for your continued support. Let us take a moment this Thanksgiving season to reflect on our good fortunes and pray that we remain healthy, wealthy, and wise.

Regards,
