Bob Wamhoff is President of Wamhoff Financial Planning & Accounting Services, a Top 100 independent financial planning firm in Missouri and Illinois as ranked by assets under management by Registered Rep Magazine1.  Established in 1975, Wamhoff currently manages over $315 million in assets for over 800 active clients.  The firm’s accounting division prepares over 1,000 tax returns.  Bob leads a staff of 21, and will be among the first tenants at the Streets of St. Charles in a 6,000 sq-ft office space.

In addition to his Top 100 ranking by Registered Rep1, Bob was nominated in 2009 as an “Outstanding Advisor of the Year”2 for his successful business practices, leadership and community service.  In January 2009, and again in January 2011, Bob was named the top producing representative for his Broker, VSR Financial Services.  In the Fall of 2009, Bob and his firm received three local awards, including St. Louis Small Business Monthly’s Top 20 Under 20 3 and Best in Customer Service Ranking4, and a 50 Over 50 Community Shaper award from St. Charles Business Magazine.5 Bob also received a “Beyond the Best”6 in business award from Streetscape Magazine in October, 2010, was named the Best Financial Planner in St. Charles County by readers of the Suburban Journals7, and was honored with St. Louis Small Business Monthly’s Best in Customer Service award8 for the second time in February, 2011.

Outside of his work, Bob runs a large charity in Honduras with his wife Diane called Just Because We Care.  Established in 2003, Just Because builds schools, kitchens, houses and provides food and basic medical care to students and their families in a small Honduran village.  In 2010, the charity’s annual golf tournament raised nearly $120,000.  Bob, Diane, and several members of the Wamhoff team and the Just Because organization travel to the country several times per year to build and work with those in need.   In September, 2009, Bob was recognized for his work in Honduras, receiving a national Community Leadership Award by InvestmentNews, which donated $12,500 to Just Because in his honor.
